Information we collect and why
- Business accounts: name, email, a securely hashed password, verification status and terms acceptance. We use these to provide and protect your account and listing, on the basis of performing our agreement with you.
- Public listings: business name, description, city, country, service, coverage, experience and an optional image. Approved listing information is public and may be indexed by search engines. Do not publish personal details you do not want made public.
- Project inquiries: your name, email and project message are stored privately and shared with the particular business you select, with your consent. No marketing subscription is created. Consent may be withdrawn for future processing; withdrawal does not undo a disclosure already made.
- Support, reports and promotion requests: contact details, message and status are used to answer requests and investigate abuse. The basis is our legitimate interest in running a safe directory and, for requested commercial arrangements, steps towards a contract.
- Security: time-limited, keyed hashes derived from the connecting IP address are used for rate limiting. Our host may independently retain access and security logs. Necessary authentication cookies keep you signed in and protect forms. Security processing serves our legitimate interest in preventing misuse.
Who receives information
The selected business receives the details in your inquiry and becomes responsible for its own use of those details. Authorised directory administrators can access inquiries for support and abuse handling. Hosting and email providers process information on our behalf. We may disclose information where a legal duty requires it. This installation does not sell inquiry details to third parties, use advertising trackers or send marketing newsletters.

How long we keep information
Account and listing data are kept while the account remains active, until deletion is requested or an applicable legal obligation requires otherwise. Inquiry, contact, report and promotion records are scheduled for deletion after 180 days. The daily cleanup job runs when WordPress cron is triggered. Verification links expire after 24 hours. Rate-limit records expire within a day and are removed by cleanup. Up to 200 administrative activity records are kept for no more than one year. Hosting logs, email copies and backups follow the provider retention arrangements described above. Businesses may have their own retention periods for inquiries they receive.
Your rights
Where applicable, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent. You may complain to the data protection authority where you live or work or where an alleged infringement occurred. Business owners can edit their listing or delete their account from the dashboard.
Choices and other information
Account details and business information are required to provide a listing. Inquiry details are required to let the selected business respond. There is no automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects. This service is intended for adults acting for businesses and people seeking professional services. We will update this notice if processing changes, including before any paid-lead sharing or optional tracking is introduced.
